Members of the club, apart from paying a reduced door fee on Wednesday, also receive a monthly newsletter informing them of who is lined up to play for the next few weeks. Social events, usually in the form of braais which evolve into jam sessions, are held regularly at members' houses, with the occasional weekend in the Berg being arranged. Workshops are also held on a variety of topics, such as sound engineering, performing or guitar techniques, for which members receive a discount. Annual membership subscription is R50, students R35 and family membership for couples R75. To apply for membership, contact the Treasurer who will e-mail you a form, and give you the bank details to deposit the subscription, or alternatively, fill in a membership form at the door on Wednesday. Your membership card will be posted to you or can be collected at the door. Membership runs for a year from date of joining.
